My path to design has been a squiggly zigzag. I received my BA in Linguistics from Stony Brook University (Stony Brook, NY) and my PhD in Linguistics & Cognitive Science from the University of Delaware (Newark, DE). After some years working in communications in the video game industry and the non-profit sector, I went back to school and completed my BFA in Interaction Design at CUNY Queens College (Queens, NY).

As a designer, I have three years of work experience at an agency and as a freelancer. My current goal is to shift back into non-profit work.

I have an embarrassing love for match-3 mobile games and romance visual novels. When I am not crafting, I am practicing Muay Thai or studying Japanese. I even run a questionably legal Etsy shop on the side.
